This four-day Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Dawn Wright is designed for those who want to understand the practice in more depth and teach it with confidence, clarity and care. We explore what makes Yin yoga distinct, how to work safely and intelligently with different bodies, and how to create classes that are spacious, purposeful and responsive rather than formulaic.
From the outside Yin Yoga can look simple – but this is deceptive as there is much depth to the subject and it is a real skill to teach it well.
The training brings together practical teaching skills, functional anatomy, basic meridian theory, meditation and reflective practice. You will experience Yin from the inside as a student, examine it through the eyes of a teacher, and develop the confidence to make informed choices around postures, props, sequencing, language, adaptations and student needs.
By the end of the training, you will have a strong foundation from which to begin teaching Yin yoga safely and thoughtfully, with a clearer understanding of not just what to teach, but why.
What we will explore
