A dream overlooking beautiful countryside
Beginnings
The characterful run-down barn sat waiting for its potential to be revealed. Set within the calm countryside and happy birdsong, Amy began to explore her dream that would lead to the barns radiant transformation and her exciting new chapter in life.
Getting Started
Following the happy news of the impending arrival of baby Bodhi, Amy decided it was the perfect time to turn her dream into a reality. A huge amount of planning, designing and honing was involved to ensure the barn kept its much-cherished natural characteristics whilst offering clients a unique and quality experience. ‘Serenity’ was at the root of the design ethos.
Under Way
New parents, Amy and James, bravely embarked on the construction phase and hired an excellent team to transform the barn. Carefully crafted with quality, ethically sourced local materials, the oak beams were sand blasted, an upstairs was added, a chill-out kitchen, bathroom and studio was constructed with underfloor heating, new windows and patio doors gave further insulation and the paint palette exuded tranquillity. The outside was landscaped and the final touches included pretty cottage garden flowers.
Launched
After a great deal of brand development The Serenity Barn was born; Amy’s dream became a reality. This magnificent barn is now a unique happy place to enjoy classes, retreats and workshops – a nurturing place where people can find a moment of space in a busy world.
