After two back surgeries within 10 months of each other for a slipped disc and still suffering with back pain, my consultant recommended that I try Pilates. I therefore looked for a local pilates instructor via an internet search and found Amy.
I had an initial consultation and Amy was very thorough in her assessment and, because of my surgery and ongoing pain, recommended one to one sessions (so that she could finely tune an exercise programme to suit my specific needs). Amy put together an individual programme for myself and has updated/adjusted this along the way during the weekly one to one sessions I have had over the past three months. Amy has taken the time and initiative to understand my issues and ensures that maximum benefit is achieved from each pilates session. Early on, I was given a homework progamme (which has been updated recently) to suit my needs/ability and I do this regularly at home.
Although my pain has not disappeared, I can safely say that, in the main, it has reduced since starting the Pilates sessions. Although sceptical in the first instance about Pilates, I can confidently say that I believe it has worked for me and I would not hesitate to recommend Amy.
I have had back pain for a few years and after some sessions with Amy I now feel very little pain and my whole core strength has come on leaps and bounds, I cant thank Amy and Pilates enough.
I was introduced to Pilates when we received a flyer through our letterbox at work in Warwick, the class was to be held during the week day at lunch time which was fantastic as being a working mum it allowed me to go to the class while my children were at school and my husband was at work and did not interfere with my evening with my family.
I attended Amy's classes and found them to be of great benefit, the class was gentle yet effective, and I can honestly say that Pilates is the only fitness regime I have stuck to.
Amy is warm and friendly and whatever your ability, her patience gives encouragement and confidence which has helped improve my condition a great deal.

Amy regularly introduces new poses/movements so no two classes are the same and she is always encouraging me to push myself a little further - meaning that I get the most from each class. I really enjoyed how relaxed the classes are and the flexibility to try harder or easier versions of the moves.
