Louisa

Physiotherapist & Pilates Teacher

I am an experienced compassionate physiotherapist with 18 years of experience within the NHS, specialising in enhancing pelvic health for over a decade. I am passionate about helping people to better understand their bodies and improve their confidence to movement and enjoy exercise. Recently certified by the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, I am enjoying integrating Pilates into therapeutic
practice.

My Professional Journey

I qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Birmingham and 2005. Through working in the NHS for nearly 2 decades, I have
honed my skills in assessing and treating a broad range of physical issues. As a specialist in pelvic health for the past 10 years, I have dedicated my expertise to helping patients regain control and confidence in this delicate aspect of their well-being. Emphasising a patient-centric approach, I strive to improve the quality of life for clients navigating through various challenges related to pelvic health.

Pilates Expertise

My qualification from the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute enabled me to blend physiotherapy techniques with Pilates. I can therefore provide tailored and effective solutions for my clients, promoting physical rehabilitation and a balanced mind-body connection. I am a busy mum of three and love being outdoors and having fun with my children. I enjoy staying active through activities such as running, Pilates and yoga, instilling the values of a healthy lifestyle within my family. My love for baking and reading help me to relax at the end of an often hectic day.
